My own catagory:

Epheus- Hernandez “El Duque” …he’s just plain awesome for throwing one.
Gyro Randy Johnson…No, seriously tho, Matsuzaka. Who else?
“beanball” PEDRO MARTINEZ (he really doesn’t care if he hits someone thats why hes the best)
Vulcan Change-up- Gange
Screwball-Hubbell

What about the Fossom Flip? He’s even got his own name for it.

I looked it up and wikipedia says its a form of an epheus but Fossum uses it as a curveball
If that didn’t make sense this is the part of the artical about the Fossum Flip (awesome name by the way)

"The third curveball is a 12-6 curveball with an enormous break, making it nearly unhittable. While the pitch has been a very effective pitch for him to use, often landing for strikes or causing popouts, he regulates the pitch as a change-of-pace pitch to prevent batters from becoming used to it. Fossum dubbed this pitch the “Fossum Flip”, and it is essentially a form of the Eephus pitch[1]. "

Sorry but I like Kip Wells. Mariano is good but Kip Wells hides he’s really good You kinda of know when Mariano is gonna throw his.[/quote]

Don’t get me wrong Fossum is good but well El-Duque is better

Yea and at Mariano’s youth you knew it was coming and still couldn’t hit it. This year he’s struggling a bit more than other years but it was definitely the most deadly pitch in baseball at one point.

yeah fossum throws bis like a curve, and el duque’s was only good(don’t get me wrong, it was good) because it was like the only one he’s ever thrown, but fossum’s even got his own name!
