the push occurs naturally if you set up correctly. you don’t have to think about it; it just happens.
Don’t know what you mean by balance phase.
it is usually a natural feeling…make sure you stay balanced with your torso and not try to do too much with your legs. this could cause your arm to not get to the “power position” which causes you to leave the ball up
I would say you start going towards home with your hips at the same time you reach the top of your leg lift. I have found the higher my leg lift the longer my stride, because I am giving more time for my hips to come forward as my leg comes down.
