When to pronate?

When exactly are you supposed to pronate when thowing a circle-change? Do you pronate before the release, during,or after?

People have told me that you should pronate after every pitch to avoid elbow dmg and stay behind the ball a bit more. But pronating just a little druing release might give you some extra movement.

Pronation is natural, it should never be forced unless throwing a screwball…dont throw a screwball. Basically, when pitching, you let the grip do the work while putting more or less pressure on certain fingers. With a changeup, I throw a Tom Glavine Circle Change, you are basically throwing the circle, staying behind the ball and then during release throwing the circle to the glove.
