What's it Like Coaching and Playing Junior Varsity Ball?

For those that have coached a junior varsity club, what’s like? Have you ever played junior varsity ball?

Played years ago of course and have been involved more recently with the pitchers in the varsity program in my town.

The biggest difference I see with JV is the lack of resources from a coaching standpoint. Coaches don’t always have a lot of resources to work with as they go to the varsity team. Rarely an assistant coach too.
