What foods should i be eatiing after lifting weights. I know protien shakes are good but what else has enough protein? Ive heard fish has a good amount but how much do I need after working out?
Id go with the protein shakes when your done lifting your body needs something high in protein to feed your muscles to prevent Catabolism. Protein shakes get to your muscles quick also tuna and peanut butter are other great sources of protein. Another thing 2 is right after your done working out a handful of swedish fish or something high in sugar is good 2 have also.
