WHIP as I understand it, is walks and hits per inning. I guess walks are weighted differently (2 innings .75 whip). The defense was solid behind him on this specific series. 0 runs were scored in his first outing (2innings) and 2 runs were scored in his second outing (4 innings). The team won both games. In the stats I was provided it did not give a number of batters. The two runs in the second game were scored in the first inning after that, it was 3 up and down on the succeeding 3 innings.
