Weird arm slot problems

Ive always been a 3/4 pitcher but this spring I dealt with elbow tendonitis and my arm slot kept dropping, by my last spring game I was almost sidearm. Now with some extended rest I noticed I’m now throwing over the top, which is really strange because I never have. Have you ever heard of this and is this bad?

I have heard of all sorts of problems with arm slots and arm angles, but this has to be a first. My advice to you is to get together with a really good pitching coach—maybe even a pro—and discuss the situation with him, then get a catcher and do some throwing with said coach observing. The problem can be resolved in short order, once you find your own natural arm slot and stay with it. 8)
