Under the radar

who do you guys think was the most under the radar pitcher of the 2008 season?

Personally i think it would be mike mussina the guy won 20 games with a 3 era. If not for cliff lee he would have to be a candidate for the cy young.

Joakim Soria. All that needs to be said.

Joakim Soria(dnt make playoff)(losing season)
Mike Mussina(dnt make playoff)although on a great team)
Brett Myers(idk)
Brad Lidge(overshadowed by K-Rod
Cliff Lee(dnt make playoff)
Kuroda 4 th dogers

all good middle relievers

“Doc” Halladay. Maybe you heard more from him, but my area paper didn’t even mention his 20th win

look who he played for

look who he played for[/quote]

He played for the Toronto Blue Jays. And your point is…?

The Blue Jays are a legit team and 20 wins is a huge number

PS:knee to the balls

I’ll take Brad Lidge. The guy didn’t blow a save all season and has done a great job in the playoffs thus far. Great season, better numbers than k-rod.

Kaz, is kelv RiStar? I see alot of similarities.

No. I like RIStar better  RIStar (as I know him Jay) is minding his own business

they arent one of the elite teams in the league

who is Ristar

none of your concern

i’d have to agree with soria but Halladay got plenty of publicity down here.
And cliff lee? how was he under the radar kelvin?

Lee’s gonna get Cy Young. That isn’t under the radar. Soria played on the Royals and still saved 42 games. Wasn’t until the All-Star Game that people started to notice, and even then he wasn’t heavily known.

exactly.thats why im asking

Yep. Kelv Kelv Kelv…

the indians werent good
the only publicity he got was from the leaving of CC and him becoming the ace of the staff
his team didnt make the playoffs
did they have a winning record

there would have been more hype if he played for a better team

Brian Wilson?..

Cliff Lee under the radar? Oh. God smite me now!!! Lee was known from the get-go when he started 5-0. He and Tim Lincecum IMO were the most talked about pitchers all year.

What are you talking about??? The only publicity he got was when CC left??? He had 22 wins before anyone had 20!!!

As Matt would say:
virtual kick in the balls
