Two Questions.........

  1. Whenever i do my workouts, one of my things i do is lift a dumbell over and kind of behind my head (bent) and extend my arm out to work on my triceps. Whenever i do this, on one of the first few reps i hear a big pop in my right (throwing arm) elbow. I hurt my elbow/forearm last year and i had to do that exercise at physical therapy and the doc heard it and asked me what it was. I told him and he told me to finish my reps. It doesn’t hurt, i just feel it and it bothers the hell out of me. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with my elbow?

2.I was just curious about how to prevent having tommy john surgery?I’m a HS sophomore and i was just curious because i want to prevent it down the road. 8)
