Tricep Pulldown Shrugs

I don’t remember exactly what they said but, I had 2 personal trainers go against tricep pulldowns because I believe they said something about separating elbow joints or something, I can’t remember 100% and I also want to know anyone’s opinions about shrugs

I do both of those exercises, although only occasional, not part of my dedicated routine of core, throwers 1O and other pitcher exercises. Listen to your body though, shrugs used to tighten me up, but don’t anymore. be easy on the weight.
