My son is winding down football season and will transition into the high school long toss/ workout program in 30 days. He is a freshman and will likely project as a varsity player OF and potentially a pitcher (lefty throwing in low 80s.)
He has played baseball into football from January 2011 until current. He was moved off quaterback and hasn’t thrown football for about a month or baseball since July.
We may go out and start throwing some tomorrow or next weekend.
How much should he throw the first time or two out? Distance? We can only do weekends.
What would be a 3-4 week program to have him ready when he moves to baseball.
