Tired Arm vs Live arm

Just wondering for all you pitchers out there this…Do you think you have better stuff with a well rested, strong Or “Live”arm. Or do you have better success when you arm is tired. I ask because I threw a bullpen yesterday with a tired arm (threw day before and had lifted weights). My arm was tired but my stuff was moving like crazy. My catcher was beside himself. I recall other veteran pitchers stating they have better stuff with a tired arm. Comments? My thought is that it prevents you from the dreaded overthrowing syndrome a live arm might encourage.

I heard such a theory about “tired arm” but i never thought is real. although, now that i read your post, i might start assuming is actually true. not sure.
