Being from the chicagoland area i know the kind of winter we are going to have. Since this is the case and I can’t always get indoors to throw like I want to, is playing catch with a football a good way of keeping the arm strength up? I know it won’t help with mechanics or actually throwing on a mound, but for arm strength and stamina would it be a good idea.
I don’t want to have to build all my arm strength up at the beginning of my season.
I thought it would since it is a lot easier to play catch outside in chicago winters with a football rather than baseballs.
