The Knucklecurve

Hi Everybody!

I have been fooling around lately with various pitches and I tried using the knucklecurve, and found out I can throw a knucklecurve at about 57 mph (my Fastball is like 71-71) and it gets about a foot and a half of break vertically and about 3 inches of break horizontally. My question is, does the knucklecurve put any extra stress on the arm? I currently throw it exactly like a FB, but I flick my knuckle to get the curveball movement. Will this have the same effect on my arm as a curve?

No, if you are throwing it like a fastball, it should do nothing more to your arm than a fastball.

thanks for the answer

not a problem, it gives me something to do
