Somebody refresh my mind. To correct throwing low, length stride, and opposite for throwing high?
Yes, to keep from throwing high, you can reduce your stride and come over the top by bending over your lead leg. As for trying to keep from throwing low, lengthening your stride to home would accomplish this.
There are a number of possible causes for throwing high or low. Changing your stride length to address this issue won’t necessarily solve it and doing so might, in fact, make your delivery less repeatable.
Stride length should be as long as possible while still maintaining posture and balance. Check your posture and balance. Check your glove arm. And check your timing to see if you’re opening up early.
