I am looking for how to become more flexible in my hips and shoulder and joints, so any stretches or exercises. Also does anyone have a warmup routine that works extremely we’ll for them in cold weather specifically.
Google “dynamic warm up.” There is so much information out there.
I usually do some walking lunges, and hold on to chain link fence and squat slowly to stretch the shoulders. Last, I take weighted balls and do rotation circles to warm up the shoulder joint. Start with small rotations all the way till your rotating the arm like you would to throw the baseball. When you start throwing, throw slowly from a short distance to about throws from third base to first base. At that point you should be warm enough to throw from the mound or throw from the outfield. This has worked for me and keeps the soreness down.
