My son (16 years old) suffered a stress fracture to his Olecranon in early Sept. We went to a specialist who confirmed the diagnosis with an MRI. He prescribed no throwing, hitting or other exertion (no weights, etc.) for 6 weeks, but did not put him in a cast or arm sling. Our follow-up appointment is in two days. I'm just wondering if anyone has been through this and can give me an idea of what to expect in terms of a timetable for a return to throwing and hitting.
