Strength workout and mph

Just wondering, how much mph will a strength workout add to your fastball? I’ve had an ex ML’er tell me my mechanics are pretty much flawless apart from a tilting of my shoulders, which I still don’t get what he meant. Right now I’m in the low 80’s and touching the mid 80’s occasionally, but I know scouts won’t look at a righty unless he’s hitting 85+ so I want to increase my velocity.

Otherwise just browse around this forum a bit. Centerfield, myself, and some others have posted different styles of workouts. I think we’ll need to make some sort of compilation at some point and then sticky it.

I was thinking of PM’ing Steven about this sometime, it would be a very good asset to the Strength Section.
