Strength training easier on the elbow


My surgeon fully cleared me to lift about a month and a half ago, with the only restrictions being 1. No heavy presses and 2. No overhead presses.

I went on to do DB bench press as my main chest exercise with a weight I could do for 15 reps (65 lbs). During the last few reps of my last set I usually feel some fatigue I my new ligament so I do not think think going heavier would help me right now.

Anyone have some good chest exercises for functional strength? Besides push ups and DB bench, I don’t have much right now.

Still have about 5 lbs to get to my goal weight for when I return to throwing off a mound, and my chest is clearly lacking compared to the rest of the body. Any help appreciated.
