My coach told me that my 4 seams are cutting and when i looked at it when i threw i could see it. He said i need to stay on the top of the ball so that it wont cut but even when im focusing on while i throw i still do it. What are some good drills to keep me on top and throw straight? I would like to work so that i can differentiate between them and add a cutter to my arsenal

i have the same problem
i get less movement when i use the two seam grip
and throw it like a four seam
use the mini four seam grip
grip it where the four seams are close together
(rotate the two seam grip 90 degrees)

not all (gravity)
the “mini” grip worked for me
