Sprints important for pitching

hey guys whats up.

i was wondering whether or not sprints are important for a baseball pitcher.
I was planning on doing 10 sprints every day at a distance of 90feet. And then 5 sprints at 180 feet(60 yard dash).

I will also do these 5 days a week.

Question 1:
will my velocity increase from doing sprints

Question 2:
Is it okay to do them 5 days a week.

Question 3:
Can i still weight lift 2 days a week with heavy weights on my legs and do sprints as well.

Question 2. Not with a healthy diet and proper intake of nutrients including protein.

Sprints are very important for pitchers fast twitch muscles.

I think on two and three he means not without a healthy diet ect.
