is a splitter a good pitch for an overhand pitcher
i’m not really sure. I throw overhand and when I mess around with a splitter it has pretty good bite to it.
i think for an overhand pitcher a splitter is going to be a very hard pitch for you to see moving, but everyone else will notice it running right off the table. The ball is basically going to go in a straight line straight down but will be very effective because it will look like your fastball that doesnt have as much downward motion and will have batters swinging over the top of it and missing or hitting many groundballs.
