Soy Protein

I just purchased a 14 serving container of soy protein. It has 20g of protein per serving. How should I be taking this incorporating it with my workout?

Not a fan of soy. The effects are still debated, but most studies show a rise in estrogen caused by soy (not good for muscle).

That being said, if you want to supplement with protein (soy, whey, or otherwise) the best times to do so would be after a workout. You can also take it before bed if it is a slower digesting variety (like casein or egg based protein powder).

don’t be so quick to turn to a protein mix. You can get just as much protein in your diet by slightly varying the foods you eat. You would be surprised how much protein you can gain from certain foods like meats, dairy products, beans, and tuna
