can anyone simplify the mechanics talked about on this page? If it will help my arm from hurting i want to try it out.

Turning Mike Marshall’s mechanics into something understandable is something people have been trying to do for years. Coach45 would be the most knowledgeable about his mechanics. Marshall’s writing is really bad for the average reader.

My read of it:

  1. Great ball movement
  2. Potential to reduce arm injuries
  3. Unproven to be capable of reaching velocities comparable to traditional mechanics.
  4. Very difficult to achieve the mechanics he writes about. I’m not sure if there is a good example, with the possible exception of Coach45’s son.
