I had some shoulder troubles earlier in the fall and went to PT. I was given many shoulder and upper back exercises to do each night. I like to do shoulder care exercises three times a week while in season. Is doing just resistance band exercises enough for shoulder care, or would doing those, light DB exercises, and some others be too much of a strain on my shoulder?
One of the things we do is reverse pitching. Start at the end of your follow thru and rewind releasing the ball at the high cock position.
I do the standing segment of the light dumbell workouts at least 5 times a week before i go to sleep. Id get my band work almost everyday before a workout or a throwing session. Some people like to do the light dumbell workouts after pitching, some dont. Its up to you and try it out and help how your body reacts.
