Shin Splints

I have a terrible case in my left leg it is extremely tender to the touch. Anyone have any remedies. All i have seen on Web MD is to do less-impact aerobic like swimming but we have to run miles every day at practice. Could it be because my cleats dont provide enough arch support?

its probably your cleats and your running mechanics. when you are running point your toe as high as you can (lock your ankle). what you are probably doing is letting your ankle flop aroung a bit.

Wrap your shins and take some mortin helped with the pain during practice and stuff and towards the end of the season magically went away

why would you be running miles everyday at baseball practice?
i would show you coach that baseball is not like running a marathon.
