In here i will keep almost a journal of everything i do.
I just graduated college and I have recently joined my teams rookie league affiliate.
I will try to update at least 3 times a week.
Just some things to start
Everything is your responsibility at this level. You are responsible for working out, getting to the ballpark, eating right etc.
The hitters switching to wood bats considerably helps pitchers at this level.
For eating right i don’t do anything crazy except regular protein shakes after work outs.
I am a starter for now. I will have to change my routine if i start to relieve
Most games the starter will only pitch 4 innings. Maybe 5.
I normally have 6 days in between starts
Some things I do:
Day after I pitch i do a very intense leg workout.
Day before I pitch i do i very light workout and stretch a lot.
I throw every day except for after i pitch
2 days after i pitch i will have a light bullpen session
2 days before i pitch i will have a regular bullpen session
I try to follow the same schedule every week. I work out in some capacity every day. I don’t eat out at all, i don’t make that much money.
