Reverse push ups, jail house push ups

Hey i was wondering if i did reverse push ups or jail house push ups explosively monday- friday do u think that would increase my pitching velocity because it works ur triceps and also lift weights for shoulders your thoughts?

I doubt that will increase your velocity, it may a little bit, but the majority of your velocity is generated from the legs. Balance point, leg extension, toe pointed out(shortest disance between two points), shoulders parallel, trunk rotation, chest out, back leg, etc… This is how armspeed is created, thereby increasing velocity.
