Return to beisbol

Hello everyone

I havent played baseball throughout my whole high school career despite having played all through 8th grade (and being decent).
However I decided I want to start playing baseball again
If not this year in high school then in college at the club sport level
possibly even more

problem is over the years my arm strength has deteriorated a lot

Any advice on building it back up?

I dont have any one really to play catch with so thats not much of an option
all I have is some balls a big backyard and a wall to throw against

All advice will be appreciated

THanks

That’s all you need. Gradually increase throwing intensity and volume over 2 months. You can find some basic interval throwing long toss programs online if you google search for them.

Find a partner and start thowing 2-3 times a week, not a lot of time but 20-25 minutes, not far either, 50-100 feet.

This has been mentioned here before. You can go to a sporting goods store and get one of those pitcher’s targets—there are several sizes and you could go with an adult size—they have the strike zone marked so you can zero in on it. Some even have the figure of a batter. You can work with this very effectively.
