Regarding a College Tryout

I just tried out for my college team and didn’t make it. I emailed the pitching coach asking what I needed to fix and he said to me that my arm strentgh/velocity was not college level. My mechanics as well as everything else was fine. Would anyone have any tips or exercises I could do in order to improve arm strentgh/velocity?

Longtoss longtoss then after that longtoss some more. Also get some mound work in if you can. I suggest lifting working on your core forearms shoulder strength legs and explosiveness. You can buy bands and do some arm excercises with them as well.
