For about the past few weeks, I’ve been having slight “pulls” in my general shoulder region. This does not occur while I throw, only afterwards. My arm doesn’t hurt all the time, only when I move it in a certain way. I notice a pain in a point on the front of my shoulder when i lift my elbow as high as it can go and in front of my face(hope that made sense). I’ve been to a doctor, and was eventualy referred to an orthopedist. He did an X-Ray on me, and found nothing wrong. Anyone have any ideas what the cause of this could be?
Do you have a video of yourself throwing?
I ask because there could be a mechanical cause to your problem.
No, I don’t have a video of me throwing, but I do agree it used to be mechanical. It used to be, I was taking to ball behind my back(but not elbows above my shoulders), which I’ve read that you belive causes shoulder problems. I’ve since fixed that, and I’m throwing with good mechanics now(according to what you’ve posted on your site, as well as others). I still notice some “pulls” in my shoulder at certain movement though.
