Plyometric Training

hey guys whats up.

Right now i am 3 weeks into my weightlifting program and everything is going extremely well. I am getting extremely strong in both my upper body and lower body and even my core.

1 question is though that once you gain your strength and power don’t you want to turn that into explosive power and speed.

So when exactly should i start training for speed.

i was thinking working out till about february on strength and then march and april i could do speed and plyometrics. Can i do plyometrics sooner and if so how many times a week. Right now i workout 3 times a week on my upper body and 3 times on my lower body all with really heavy weights.

Also what are some examples of plyometric exercises for my legs?

that contains most of the basic leg plyo exercises.
