Whats everyones opinion on these? I’ve heard good things about them, but some bad as well. Personally I like the idea of push ups since i have had some shoulder pain from benching.
We use them for our baseball pitchers. Mike Reinold is a fan too. It helps drive some internal rotation in the push-up while keeping your wrists neutral, which is always a plus. I personally see no downside in using them. If you don’t want to spring for them (you can usually find the travel ones for $20 or so - you don’t need to buy the expensive versions), you can use cheap hex dumbbells at your gym as makeshift push-up bars which give you the benefit of the neutral wrist but no internal rotation of the humerus.
