i have been working out since the start of september on a program from baseball canada. I have been having a painful problem with the bench press. My right shulder cracks a bit and there is a pain in the shulder for alll of the reps. Is there anything i can do about this problem
quit benching and see how it goes
if any exercise causes you pain you need to immediately stop doing that exercise
use your best judgement to determine what is pain and what’s a beneficial burn from the workout
I’m not sure if you were using a barbell or dumbell but usually dumbells feel better for shoulders. You need to keep your elbows below your shoulder(closer to your side). If this doesn’t help you could try doing pushups of variations of pushups.
