Off Season Training

Other than the typical Weight training an all that good stuff, what do you do for conditioning? I mean like mountain biking and such.

I personally go hiking on a local “mountain” that has been marked off in safe areas. I go two or three times a week in the summer and usually wear light ankle weights and i get a great leg workout.

What do u do?

run cross country in the fall 6-8 miles a day for a few months. Great fun. I’ll be running sprints and eating an extra 750 calories a day this fall so I can continue to gain weight while doing that and not lose explosive power.
