Off-Season Training for 10 Year Old

#1

My son just turned 10 years old and played for a local travel team this past year. This was his first year pitching and he really enjoyed it (and did very well). Now that the season is over I am looking for a training program for him. He pitched around 770 pitches this past season so my plan is for him to rest his arm for a month or two and then start some sort of program. His team will probably have a few practices/practice games this fall and more intense training will start in December/January. In the meantime my son will be playing rec soccer and basketball. Would the Driveline program be a good fit for him? I don’t want anything too intense but definitely want to improve arm health while working on accuracy, mechanics and velocity (velocity is not nearly important). Thanks!

Be sure to not overuse him. This is what MLB says: http://m.mlb.com/pitchsmart/pitching-guidelines-ages-9-to-12
