If anybody remembers a while back I had a question about batting practice being detrimental to pitching. Most of the answers I got back were something to the tune of “as long as you don’t hurt yourself it’s ok”. Well I hurt my oblique muscle. I’m not a doctor and I know that nobody here is, nonetheless, I was wondering if the general rule for this sort of thing would be for me to stop pitching altogether to let this thing heal. Keep in mind that whether it’s long toss or mound sessions, it never bothers me. It’s just nagging at me during the mundane activities of day to day life.
