you don't have to pay $30 for workouts.
stick to pushups, pullups, planks, and body weight squats for now. Medicine ball work is excellent as well. Get really really strong at those. Do explosive exercises and you don't want to start anything out of breath. No cross fit, no long distance running whatsoever. Baseball is an explosive, not an endurance, sport.
I have linked up below Eric cressey's website, be sure to read everything you can. He is the best out there as far as conditioning the baseball player goes. Have your dad read some of the science stuff if it gets really complicated.
