New Synchronized Four-Camera Setup at Driveline Baseball

#1

Thought you guys might like to see this - been working on it for quite some time and I’m happy to say it’s ready for “wide beta” testing. Four synchronized cameras shoot from 25-125 FPS (can get as high as 180 FPS, still working on that) and we also have four more high-speed cameras that shoot at either 240 or 300 FPS (default settings) for piecemeal analysis.

Lots of fun!

Kyle,
How do you synch the cameras?

Ah, that’s a secret

I spent a lot of my previous life as a software developer, so I leaned on my experience there to work on that.

I´m assuming you wrote all the firmware yourself then?

Firmware no, software yes. Also the driver had to be custom-coded to allow for different frame rates.
