I dropped down to a low three-quarters arm slot, and it feels great. It feels more natural and I have more control and velocity on my pitches. I have learned a two-seam (shuuto) and it’s working great. Still working on finding a natural windup for myself because none of them feel completely natural yet. Guess I’ll just have to keep looking.
Post some video of your new delivery. If you’re dropping down and going to stay there, remember to throw like that during all your throwing – between starts, flat ground, in the bullpen, long toss, etc. Practice like you pitch. Don’t throw high-3/4 all week and then expect to be effective from a low-3/4 in games. Get what I’m saying?
