mound

well, i went to my high school and registered so that i could try out for the high school team

i made the team :smiley:

thing is, they use mounds and ive only used a mound like… once or twice

my control was way off, the ball went BEHIND the batters once or twice :shock: also, my calf totally cramped up to where everytime i would pitch it would take a few seconds before i could move my foot back from pointing at the ground

is there any way to fix these or do i just get used to it with time?

Some of it will come with time. But you will need additional leg strength to plant and brace while moving downhill. Lunges might be good in addition to reps off the mound.
