Obviously one of my hugest goals is to increase my weight (150-155). I am currently lifting 3 times a week here: www.Edgesportstraining.com and doing my baseball specific work (long toss, mound work, practice) on my own time. I realize my weight is going to be determined by how much I am going to be eating, not my strength program.

My coach gave me this list to eat from, is it a pretty good source?:

Also, has anyone used Meal Plans 101 by Dr. Chris Mohr (www.mohrresults.com) to help them develope a good meal plan to reach calorie intake goals?

Also I am trying to figure out a good Post-workout shake/supplement that I can add. Does anyone have any recipies for a good protein shake that you would put in a blender? Also, which protein shake or powder is the best, currently I am drinking these:

Any kind of nutrition info you have for a guy looking to put on some good weight, please let me know.

Thanks.

I am wondering what type of supplement would be better to take as a college athlete after a workout:

Muscle Milk like this:

Or

Protein shake like this:

Pre-mixed shakes are almost always more expensive than the powder, so I lean that way (I’m cheap). As far as the nutrition, both have plenty of carbs, so they are probably geared more toward weight gain (which is good for you). This would be a good option to drink right after a workout, and also for a snack between meal times.
