Monster

What would happen if i had a monster energy drink before a start?

Caffine is a diuretic.

You don’t want to cramp up or anything.

But for the record, caffine and taurine can be performance enhancers. High doses of caffine or it’s derivatives are actually banned by the NCAA.

If you tend to avoid caffine, it’s quite interesting what it can during a lifting session. Haven’t had anything specifically for baseball before though. I have been having cramping problems with out it at times lol, don’t want to worsen the situation.

Ya it may give you a decent buzz goin into the first inning or two but it doesn’t last long and then you kinda crash

idk my school considers energy drinks drugs and if you have one within 5 hours of practice or a game you will get suspended any where from 2-10 games

ive never heard of a school doing that before
to avoid a crash i would just sip it during the game instead of chugging it all before you go out. you will still most likely get some cramping

crazy I know

you would probably have a nice law suit if you were suspended for drinking an energy drink. it’s not illegal and i don’t think they can enforce that rule constitutionally.

what about taking caffiene (spelling) tablets? do they get you for that. is that performance enhancing?

what if you took viagra? that’s performance enhancing.

what about a softballer who had breast enhancement or reduction. is that performance enhancement?

what about lifting weights? that is performance enhancement.

so is tutoring for that matter.

my gosh, let’s all go fling ourselves under the bus.

Some energy drinks are labeled “Not intended for anyone under age 18” because they contain an extremely high amount of caffeine.

All of the energy drinks are “watered down” anyway. The original Red Bull came from Thailand. I have drank the original and it’s like drinking pure sugar. You’ll know what I mean if and when you ever get the chance to drink it. Hard to find it locally unless there is an Asian market nearby. More info in the Wiki

If you haven’t noticed the school system and rules that you are forced to abide by are very unconsitutional. You don’t even have the right to defend yourself without a punishment if someone tries to attack you.

caffeine is actually a NCAA banned substance if over a certain amount is found in your urine. i’ve heard that they could concieveably test you before the game and an engergy drink could cause a positive test. whether or not that would happen…thats another story.

i’ve noticed. i have taught school law at the university level. not everything schools try to do is ok, and you can hold them liable. tort case law gets fuzzy in a hurry.

^ real talk.

I stay away from caffeine all of the time.

u would finish the workout pretty fast cuz ud be hyped or u will get cramps

my school had a trip to new york a few years ago and they took a shortcut through chinatown to get to the hotel they were staying at. most people bought fake rolex’s or piano wire but one kid bought 4 cans of that. apparently he chugged all of them and had to get rushed to the ER cause his heart failed. he was fine though

Have you nominated him for a DArwin Award yet?

You have to actually die for a darwin award. It’s not his fault he doesn’t know chinese so how could it be his fault!?
