Messing around with the knuckle

#1

and i ended up turning it over to a batter and he swung over it by about a foot. threw it again and the same result. Threw a fastball right down the middle to see if he just sucked but he hammered it. threw the pronated knuckle again and he swung over it again. im guessing it creates the illusion its rising?

[not in a game setting, was just in practice]

Probably not, it was more than likely dropping about a foot just as it reached a plate.

once, when I threw my knuckleball, it looked and broke just like a curveball. It was the most amazing site ever. But basically, it’ll keep batters off guard
