There are tons of abdominal execerises that cen be done on amedicine ball. There are great for batting power and pitching both. Besides I know a couple of chest execerises too. Search www.Google.com for them. Key word " Med-ball chest/Ab workouts" this should bring good results.

Should work well as an aspect of explosive strength training/ plyometrics. You might want to add bodyweight or weight training exercises in to fill out the program. Med ball by itself is somewhat limited.
