Lifting in between season

Im in the high school season right now and our last games are on may 9th. The problem is that i wanna get brick and ill be using creatine. I dont wanna risk an injury with working out right now and being out the most important part of the year. My summer team starts on may 16th. I need to get my velocity up for important summer showcases and next year for varsity ball. Responses would be great!
