Leg lift

#1

Does higher leg lift helps generate more forward momentum? I’ve seen pitchers with high leg lift throwing hard. Such as Nolan Ryan, Sandy Koufax, or Bob Feller. Thanks

Help? Yes. I think the leg lift is one piece of the momentum puzzle. You need to put it together with getting the hips going sooner and faster, maintaining good posture and balance, and having good timing.

I dont no scientificly, but i lifted my leg higher and i gained some mph. I know use it as my normal leg lift. My leg comes up to about chest height now. So it might increase momentum

For me a higher leg lift throws off my momentum and kinda slows me down, so i have a short quick lift thats waist high. I guess the leg lift helping momentum varies from pitcher to pitcher
