During my leg kick, my body leans towards 2nd base, how can I fix this?
try starting your momentum forward a little earlier. This should balance you out a bit better.
While momentum is a good thing, leaning back toward 2B is sometimes an issue when you have a pitcher try toincrease their momentum.
One thing to look at would be the glove arm. If the glove arm is extended too high out in front, that can tilt the shoulders back and cause the lean back toward 2B.
The head and shoulders do need to stay slightly behind the front hip into knee lift but there shouldn’t be a big lean back.
leaning back toward 2 was a common thing in the 40s to 60s. if it doesn’t bother your control dont even think about it
