I just want to know exactly what “lactic acid” is and how can I get rid of it?

latic acid is nothing to worry about what it is the burning feeling you get after a workout. Study’s have proven that after 60 minutes of a workout your latic acid levels go back to before workout levels.
So you should be to worryed now.
