lately, ive been having difficulty hitting the strike zone. i’ve been missing my locastions high and to the inside to a right handed hitter. can anybody give me any advice? Please help.
Are you a right handed pitcher?
Usually if you are missing high and inside it means you are dropping your arm which will cause your ball to go high, and if you drop your arm the ball tends to tail which can result in it going inside.
Check and make sure you are not dropping your elbow when you throw. Have you been experiementing with any new pitches lately, like a slider?
thanks AugiePitcher ill check cuz i might get a couple innings today. and yes im a right handed pitcher. and yes ive been expirimenting with a slider. how did u know?
Missing up and in is often a symptom of opening up early.
